Hospital Accident Protection — This plan was designed to help members defray the high cost of hospitalization as a result of an accident. The plan provides cash benefits, paid directly to you, for each day hospitalized. The plan offers coverage for hospital stay, intensive care, and emergency room expenses resulting from a covered accident; hospitalization due to sickness or disease is not covered.
